There's no doubt that the weekend round the Netherlands was a dissappointment. We arrived under cloud, toured around under a white-out sky, saw no tulips and even the coast was under mist. But then on the final evening and following morning in Amsterdam we got a break and there's some nice pics of us drinking beers...I even had a [schmoke and a] pancake for breakfast.

You got B1CCDC almost right!
There actually is an *Oude* (old) Lutherse Kerk on the Singel, but it is at the other end, opposite of the flower market. (It's entrance is on the Spui.)

This one is the *Ronde* (round) Lutherse Kerk. It has been used as a showroom for tents in the 50's and 60's.

From 75 it has been used by the hotel next door, then the Sonesta. This is why to this moment many people call this the Sonesta Koepel (cupola or dome), though it now is owned by the Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel.
It used to have a bright light green dome. A really shining landmark on the Amsterdam skyline. Sadly the whole roof burned down in 93.

The narrow house in B1D4RX is generally referred to as the narrowest house in Amsterdam. The address is Singel 166.

There are more *narrowest houses* of which one is on the Singel also: at #7: the front is 80 cm narrower, but the house itself is much wider.
